<image:title>Who I Am - Hello, and welcome to my passion!</image:title>
<image:caption>As a proud Boise native, I feel deeply honored to serve the community that has given me so much. For over a decade, I’ve been immersed in the work of eating disorder recovery, suicide prevention, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). With a been there, done that mentality, I aim to practice radical genuineness both personally and professionally. I do this work because I believe recovery is real and every person deserves to feel at peace. I'm especially drawn to working with athletes, with a focus on using sport as protective factor and motivation for recovery. Because I know personal experience is not enough, I have sought training and mentorship from experts in diverse disciplines and in all levels of eating disorder and crisis intervention care. I hold a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling and have completed the highest level of training and consultation in DBT. If I’m not in the office, you can find me running in the Boise foothills with my pup or doting on my therapy guinea pig, Marsha. Humans are resilient and I am humbled to witness the beauty of our collective strength. Thanks for having me on your journey!</image:caption>

<image:caption>With a firm belief in providing evidence-based practices and care to my clients, I find it most effective to stay abreast the latest research topics by working directly with my colleagues at The Body Image Lab in the Department of Psychological Science at Boise State. With Mary Pritchard, PhD, and several undergraduate and graduate students, I have worked on various projects surrounding athletes, temperament, and recovery outcomes in eating disorders.</image:caption>
